A Hand Cream that strengthens Nails?

Have you ever found a hand cream that you just need to shout about?

My hands are quite boyish with short nails that never grow beyond a couple of millimeters before they start to break. Even if they do grow they are soft and bend easily, making them impractical. I'm not looking for long nails as they would get in the way of my work. All I'm looking for is neat nails that are strong, with enough length to be able to paint a French Manicure. What I need is a nail strengthener.

I first tried a Skin, Hair and Nails supplement. However, I found it difficult remembering to take this regularly.

I usually have a hand cream on my desk at work and find it easy to remember to apply it regularly. My hands would get quite dry and cracked during cold weather if I didn't use hand cream. There are numerous creams I have used and most of them are non-greasy and keep my hands smooth, soft and crack free. However, none of them have really had much impact on my nails.

This changed when I tried the Elemis Pro-Collagen Hand and Nail Cream. I noticed in a very short time that my nails had become stronger than I think they've ever been and they were growing faster too. My hands were lovely and soft and the cream wasn't greasy. It is a more expensive hand cream than what I would usually use but you get what you pay for. I'll be buying more. This product won the Natural Health Beauty Awards 2010 and has been rated highly in other reviews that I have read.

So if you're struggling with your nails and have tried other treatments or hand creams, I challenge you to try this 'simple' hand cream that you may find doubles as a nail strengthener. It's a pity I couldn't use this cream on my hair.
